Ration Quantity

I am a missionary in Brazil. We have an orphanage and some milk cows. How much ration do you give milk cows per liter of milk produced?

We use a 20% protein mix when they are giving milk. What do you give them when they are dry?

Concentrate for Dairy Cows

Hi Mark

Here in South Africa we give up to 300 grams of concentrate per litre of milk.

For dry cows we give no concentrate.
