I thought when I moved to the country I would enjoy some peace and quiet and nature.
Sighting of deer, chippies, red , western gray and eastern gray squirrls was wonderful. Then came spring.
Living next to a large hazelnut farm has turned that dream into a nightmare.
The spraying of these trees is endless night and day. I'm not fond of bugs but when they drop all around you , you have to wonder what that is doing to your own body. Then there's the constant gun fire these sound like bombs going off. There are still a few ground squirrels but every other species is gone.
I've lost my appetite for hazelnuts to many birds and small animals have to die for this crop. Not to mention the strange symptoms we've had since moving here. If I could move I would.
