Opportunites to Learn Organic Farming or Permaculture in Canada

Hi, my name is Jean-Guy, I am very interested in permaculture (and eco building with 3 yrs experience) in urban and rural settings. I would like to own my own business one day but want more experience/ training.

I am wondering if you may have any links, contacts, or direction for me to find preferably employment within Canada but am open to schooling or apprenticeship. Interest in solar power as well.

Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated, I am currently living in Ontario and AB but am open to moving, and do have a diploma for ecosystem management, thank you.

Apprenticeships for Organic Farming and Permaculture Opportunities

If you are interested in an apprenticeship in organic farming in Canada there is an apprenticeship run by SOIL and the link is here:

Soil Apprenticeships

The duration is a minimum of 8 weeks, and as long as you are over 18 and are healthy, you qualify.

If you are looking specifically for a permaculture apprenticeship in Canada then Kootenay Permaculture Institute run on a 10 acre farm in British Columbia offer such a thing. Their website link: Kootenay
