Just stumbled onto your site and love it! Even though I live in the suburbs I think I was a farmer's wife in a past life! So glad I found this!

Glad you love the site, Lisa! The message here is really you don't need to have a farm to be somewhat self-sufficient.
Even if you live in the suburbs, plant a vegetable garden in your backyard, pull up the lawn and do something useful with the little land you have. Plant a fruit and nut tree, grow some herbs, make your own, build your own, and take a stand in what you eat and how you eat it.
Come back often as there is always something here that is new week, after week.
