Cliftonville Farmers Market
Cliftonville Farmers' Market voted 'Best in Kent 2006, 2007, 2008, runner up 2009, and received the 'Pride in Thanet Award 2008' for the Farmers' Market.
The market is held on the Oval Lawns, Eastern Esplanade, Cliftonville, on the last Sunday of the month from 10:00 a.m. - l:00 p.m.
Producers sell, artisan breads, veg, cakes, apple & pear juices, wild game, cheese, fudge, chutneys, preserves, fruit pies, ready made meals, meat, speciality savory pies, sausages, fish, olives, plants, eggs, vegan & vegetarian, seasonal fruit, handmade dog biscuits, French cheeses and more.
It is held on the cliff top around the historic Oval Bandstand with stunning views out to sea.
After visiting the market take a brisk walk along the cliff tops or in the warmer weather on the beach and then have lunch in one of the hotels nearby.
From June until September we hold band concerts on the bandstand from 2.30p.m every Sunday afternoon, so you can make a whole day of it.
We are wheelchair friendly and have toilet facilities on site. We have a refreshment kiosk and parking is near the market.
